Inspired by a bat conservation poster I created in design school, I thought of sharing some unique facts about the creatures that bats share their home in the sky with: birds! Using geometric shapes to simplify the shapes of the birds and bubbles to hold fun facts about each one, I’ve come up with a very distinct iconography for this piece. As a reminder, there are many birds on the endangered species list and I encourage everyone to find out how they can donate or volunteer to help these wonderful animals— I grabbed my facts from the very helpful American Bird Conservancy website, and from there you can also learn more about the threats to our world’s birds and what you can do to support them.
